He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Elbert Davis and Annie Marie Davis; his mother Evelyn DeLois Davis Taulbee; his uncles, Billy Joe Davis, Otis Davis and Martin Davis; and his aunt Patricia Davis Taulbee (Lord).
He is survived by: his adoptive son Randy Ruby; his significant other Linda Prosser Stuart; his children, Matthew Prosser (Candace Daniels), Mark Prosser (Nikki Young), Sarah Stuart (Carl Haats), Mary Stuart (Ignacio Perez) and Joshua Stuart (Mady Tate); his grandchildren, Gaelynn, Israel Kirk, Sophia, William, Roland, Red, Braxton James "B. P." Prosser, Dalton, Heidi Cannon, Carson Haats, Christopher Andrade, Aubrey Valenzuela, Addisyn Valenzuela and Gabriel Kirk Stuart; his uncle George Davis of Kilgore; his cousins, Jerry and Christopher; his daughter Emily; his grandchild Chase; his siblings, Ivy, Ella Stuart Howard and Ernest Stuart; his aunt Dorothy Berry of Queen City; and his sons, Randy Ruby (Sonia) and Gary Parrish. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kilgore Memorial Gardens.
