It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Evans Kemp of Tyler, Texas, born in Centreville, Mississippi, who passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dempsey Charles Kemp and Blanche Baker Kemp; his wife Lugenia Walker Kemp; and his sisters, Hilma K. Horne and Laura K. Anders.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennie Gill (Scott Gill); and his granddaughters, Sallie (Sean Gill) and Patty Tobias.
