She was predeceased by: her parent Ella Mae Young; her siblings, Jaretta Covarruvias, Brenda Sanders, John Young Jr. and Robert Young; and her granddaughter Jarah Shelton.
She is survived by: her daughters, LaBrenda Villanueva, Tracy Cruz, Evelyn Vasquez, Christy Rincon and Bashia Knight (Mitchell); her nieces, Danyel Brown (Tim) and Melissa Sanders; and her great-grandfurs Charlie. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
