With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ted L. Hand (Tyler, Texas), who passed away on January 10, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Starley Hand, Sr.; his former wife Josephine Hand; and his siblings, Starley Hand, Jr., Patricia Hand Armstrong and Sue Hand Payne.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Eikner Hand; his children, Larry W. Hand (Dawn), Joe D. Hand (Vicki) and Judy L. Hand; his grandchildren, Christopher Hand, Kyle Hand, Cody Hand and Taylor Hand; and his sister Rosemary Hand Dawsey. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Ted L. Hand may be made to Pleasant Retreat United Methodist Church-Maintenance Fund, 417 CR 1143, Tyler, TX 75704 or The Hospice of East Texas Foundation, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, TX 75701.
