He is survived by: his wife Mary Covey (Burleson); his children, Linda (Butch Peters) of Hideaway Lake and Kenny Covey of Lindale; his grandchildren, Blake Peters of Lindale, Matt Covey of Flint, Macie Covey of Troup and Kalyn Hefner of Lindale; and his great grandchildren, Alice Covey of Flint, Alex Covey of Flint and Zona Electra Hefner of Lindale. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
