He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Russell Peterson and Agnes Oretha Adey Peterson; his wife Colleen Delores Peterson; and his stepchildren, Cheryn Lessard Bias of Boise, Mike Hodges of Astoria, Charles Shannon of Greenville, NY, Kathy Shannon of Mobile, Robert Shannon of Amarillo and Randolph Shannon of Mobile, Alabama. He was also cherished by many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
