He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Cain and Zola Cain; his grandparents, Nick, Louise Cain, Henry and Fredonia McCormick; his son Kelvin Jones; his siblings, Felton, Bobby, Billy, Jerry and Evelyn Cain-Smith; and his granddaughter Charnise Billington.
He is survived by: his wife Zanell; his children, Robert (Tricia), Willie Ray, Janice (Lloyd) and Cheryl (Curtis); his grandchildren, DeMarc, Jaâ, Vasua, Robert II, Demontre, Sasha (Cameron), Jacquetta, Deidra (Patrick) and Alivia (Marquis); his great grandchildren, DeMarenae (David), DeKaleb, Devon, Camyria, Orlandris, NaKhiya, Aviyun, Kennedy, Camryn, Alijah, NeKile, Micah, Charlie and Saint; his great great grandchildren, Carter and Willow; his siblings, John Paul, Charles (Annette), Maurice, Celestine Devoe and Noella Cain; and his friends, Charles Williams and Therman Beasley (Fannie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
