He is survived by: his children, William Orand Key Jr. (Suzie) and Caroline Malone Key; his grandchildren, Gracie Key, Annie Malone Key, Miller Orand Key, Kristin and Mady; his brother Denning Key (Jan); his nieces, Frances Key, Sarah McKellar and Katy McKellar; his sister Eugenia Key; his niece Meg Randolph (Johnnie); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jack Randolph, Charlie Randolph and Margaret Randolph; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Malone; his nieces and nephews, Meg Malone, Carter Malone (Brooke), Justin Malone (Alison) and Kendal Malone Rodgers (Scott); his friend Holly Marsh; and his caregivers, Nancy Andersen and Aracely Valle.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to All Saints Episcopal School Athletic Department, Rose Capital West Little League, and The Tyler Rose Museum.
