He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Ann Hunter; his children, Jacob Hunter (Ashtyn) of Kalamazoo, Corwin Hefner of Coldwater, Michigan and Autumn Cousino (Kenneth) of Reading, Michigan; his siblings, William Hunter (Pat) of Columbus, Ohio and Bonnie Strassel (Tom) of Glencoe, Kentucky; his sister-in-law Sharon Hunter of Lancaster, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Castin Cousino, Everly Cousino, Winnie Hunter and Osric Hunter.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations to the Salvation Army be made in David's honor.
