He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Tami Clayton and Krista Steele; his son-in-law Brian Clayton; his grandson Ethan Clayton; and his sisters, Sandy Williams and Betsy Danner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Universal City Starts (1401 Pat Booker Rd, Universal City, TX 78148). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Universal City (1401 Pat Booker Rd, Universal City, TX 78148). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:15 PM at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).

He never asked for anything from us, but he gave us everything. And he is finally free from the Parkinson's prison he lived in at the end of his life, celebrating in Heaven with his loved ones that preceded him in death.
