Rip Duke Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rip Duke Sr. of Utopia, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 27, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Rip may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Ray and Norma Vivian Duke; and his brother Jack Ray. He is survived by: his wife Elvie Duke; and his children, Norma Rose Duke, Jacquelyn Ray Duke, Lisa Renee Felkins and Leslie Ripple Duke, Jr.. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Utopia ISD.
