He is survived by: his wife Esperanza Romero; his children, Maria Romero (Lydia Bosquez) of San Antonio, Hope Silva (Joel) of Westlake Village, CA, Sylvia Romero of San Antonio, Lupe Casanova (Omar) of San Antonio, Marcelino Romero (Adriana) of Atlanta, GA, Ruben Romero (Irma) of San Antonio, Martin Romero of Lakehills, Rene Romero (Julie) of Uvalde, Rolando Romero (Diana) of San Antonio and Jorge Romero (Valerie) of Uvalde; and his sister Esmeralda De Hoyos (Raul) of Uvalde. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
