He is survived by: his children, Patricia Samilpa (Anthony) of Kyle, Raquel Hernandez of Uvalde, Tony Hernandez (Alice Samilpa Hernandez) of Austin, Moses Hernandez (Gema) of Uvalde and Willie Hernandez (Emma) of Uvalde; his brother Joe Hernandez of Benbrook; and his cousin Mary Ann Garcia (Joe) of Uvalde. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
