He was predeceased by: his father David Martinez Munoz; and his wife Juanita R. Martinez. He is survived by: his children, Arturo Martinez Jr. of Uvalde, Jessica Martinez (Lawrence Rios) of Uvalde and Juanita Lopez (Edward) of Uvalde; and his siblings, Florensio Martinez Vasquez of Mexico, Bernardo Martinez Vasquez of Mexico, Servando Martinez Vasquez of Mexico, Jose Manuel Martinez of Mexico, Rosa Elena Martinez Vasquez of Mexico, Elsa Guadalupe Martinez Vasquez of Mexico and David Martinez Vasquez. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
