Ruiz Jr. (Michelle Ruiz) of Uvalde, Kristine Danielle Ruiz (Justin Mendoza) of Uvalde and Joaquin Feliciano Ruiz of Uvalde; his pets, Kika and Choncha; his grandchildren, John Patrick Ruiz Garza, Daniel Feliciano Ruiz Garza, Jessica Faith Ruiz Garza, Roberto Noel Ruiz Garza, Elijah Mateo Mendoza and Eliana Alicia Mendoza; his mother Narcisa Ruiz; his siblings, Maria Ruiz Flores (Jesus) of Uvalde, Silbia Arredondo (Roberto) of Crystal City, Rosaura Sonora (Gumercindo) of Uvalde, Leticia Arizmendi (Arnulfo) of Uvalde, Jose Ruiz (San Juana) of Waller, TX, Gonzalo Ruiz of Uvalde and Ricardo Ruiz (Maria) of Uvalde; and his godsons, Gumercindo Sonora III, Kenneth Sonora, Jesse Rodriguez, Juan Guerrero, Eric Benavides and Jonathan Rodriguez. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
