It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esdula Gomez of Uvalde, Texas, who passed away on February 27, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Trine Castillo and Anita Castillo (Valverde); and her siblings, Elma Gonzales and Armando Gonzales. She is survived by: her children, Amanda Portillo of Uvalde, Mario A. Gutierrez Jr. (Chriselda) of Uvalde and Juan I. Gomez (Laura Nelly) of Uvalde; and her sister Elma Negrete of Uvalde. She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
