It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Estelle A. DuBose (Uvalde, Texas), born in Corpus Christi, Texas, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Frances and George Armistead (Tom DuBose); her sister Amelia Walden; her brother-in-law Wylie Walden; and her niece Amy DuBose McGehee.
She is survived by: her husband Tom; her children, Allison Tomas (Don) of Sylva, Win DuBose (Camile) of Uvalde and Sarah McSween (Paul) of San Antonio; her son-in-law Dennis McGehee (Tane); and her brother George "Chico" Armistead (Carmen) of Austin, Texas.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip's Episcopal Church (343 N Getty St, Uvalde, TX 78801).
