She was predeceased by : her parents, Carlos Ruiz and Juanita Ruiz (Zamora); and her sisters, Rosa Chapa and Ramona Espadas. She is survived by : her children, Andres "June" Ybarra (Isabel) of Uvalde, Sonia Penalosa (Anselmo) of Uvalde, Mary Alice Ybarra of Uvalde, Angelica "Angel" Silva of Uvalde, Arnold "Boy" Silva (Rita) of Uvalde, Judy "Missy" Estrada (Luis) of Uvalde and Julie Gonzales of Uvalde; her sisters, Linda Perez (Seledonio) of La Pryor, Genoveva Cobarrubias of Uvalde, Evangelina Delgado (Andres) of San Antonio, Sylvia Moreno of Copperas Cove and Laura Trevino (Rey) of Seguin; her grandchildren, Pilar Newberry (Fred), Juanita "Nini" Andrews (Tanner), Macy Briones (Javier), Adaline Penalosa, Adrian Penalosa, Arianne Penalosa, Alianne Penalosa, Rylan Diaz, Andres Silva, Mauricio Silva, Emma Silva, Marcelo Silva, Alesandra Gonzales, Osiris Edwards, Io Alekxi Estrada and Elizabeth Cartaya; her great grandchildren, Victoria, Mia Grace, Chloe and Penelope Newberry; her grandchildren, James, Thomas, John, William Andrews, Camilla, Amelia, Lilliana Briones, Lagertha, Azaeliyah Penalosa and Noah Silva; and her son Jordy Lee Gonzales.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either Sacred Heart Catholic School or Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
