He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff Stokes and Iva Lee Derr Stokes of Mercedes; and his siblings, Jack "Sandy" and Judy. He is survived by: his wife Lucy of Uvalde; his daughter Rebecca Kelly; his son-in-law Tim Kelly; his grandchildren, Jack Kelly of Minnesota and Lillian Kelly of Minnesota; and his siblings-in-law, Lloyd Burnett of Houston, Marty Ramey of North Carolina, Catheran Burnett of Georgia and Amy Burnett of Austin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
