He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Amaro, (Zavala) and Johnny Amaro, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Priscilla Amaro (Josue Chavez) of Uvalde, Cheryl Amaro (Brandon Valdez) of Edinburg, Valerie Martinez (Joe) of Uvalde, Johnny Amaro of Edinburg and Rafael Bazan (Lavonne) of Uvalde; and his brother Edward Zavala (Ruth) of Mercedes. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
