She was predeceased by: her parents, LaVonne Collier (Hatch) and William Samuel Collier; her husband John H. Harrell, Sr.; and her brothers-in-law, D. S. "Jack" Harrell (Jerry) and Jimmy Wynn Harrell.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Hipp (Richard) and John "Hal" Harrell, Jr. (Donna) of Uvalde; her grandchildren, John Harris Hipp of Austin, Kristen Ann Harrell (Jessica) of Uvalde, TX, James Richard Hipp (Carly) of Spring Branch, TX and H. Harrell, III; her great grandchildren, Tate Michael Hipp and Rhett Richard Hipp of Spring Branch, TX.; her siblings, Bill Collier (Edie), Dwight Collier (Mary Ann), Sharron Collier Carnes (Eddy Carnes) and Richard Collier (Lee Ann); her sister-in-law Clarisie Harrell; and her grandsons, John "Trey" H. Harrell III and Jay Crawford Hipp. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, First United Methodist Church of Uvalde, or El Progreso Memorial Library.
