He was predeceased by: his parents, William James Scott and Lily Ann Scott (Mitchell). He is survived by: his daughter Nardys Kay Scott (Ruiz); his wife Kay Scott (Burks); his children, Ray Allen Scott and Barbara Dee Ann Scott (Justin); his grandchildren, Nicole Locker Chapa (Mike), Danielle Marie Locker, Tristiana Ruiz, Jeremy Robichaux (Haley), Crew Chief Specialist Savannah of Georgia, Amanda Allyne Scott Zamudio (John), Brianna Marie Scott Leydon (Thomas) and Jared Ray Scott; and his great grandchildren, Everly Lehmann, Evan Robichaux, Ethan Miguel Chapa, Ashton Thomas Chapa, Wilson Leydon and Watson Leydon.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary (220 S Getty St, Uvalde, TX 78801).
