He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecilia Velasquez (Martinez) and Jesus Velasquez; and his sister Esperanza Ruiz. He is survived by: his wife Norma Velasquez of Uvalde; his children, Michelle Torres (Roy) of Uvalde, Alice "Jenny" Marsh (Earl Marsh) of San Antonio and Jorge Rodriguez (Jonathan) of Uvalde; his brothers, Rene Velasquez (Anita) of Uvalde and Richard Velasquez (Martha) of Uvalde; and his grandchildren, Rankin Falcon, Kayla Rodriguez, Taylor Cerda, Randy Falcon, George Rodriguez, Tiffany Gonzales, Tyler Gonzales, Kaitlyn Ramirez, Ryder Torres, Sean Rivas, Madi Velasquez, Jaden Velasquez, Zak Velasquez, Lynn Lee Maddox and Zerrik Velasquez (Zeke Velasquez). He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
