She was predeceased by: her father Jose Villarreal; and her sister Janie Fontana. She is survived by: her mother Magdalena Villarreal (Azocar); her children, Jasmine Pena (Victor Mata) of San Antonio, Holly Curiel (Arnulfo) of Corpus Christi and Joseph Stansell of Uvalde; her siblings, Analee Pimenides of Corpus Christi, Susana Vela of Falfurrias, Norma Chapa of Lake Jackson, Cindy Arevalo of Falfurrias and Joe Villarreal of Kingsville; her grandchildren, Ariela Benavidez, Vijay Mata, Melina Curiel and Jack Curiel; and her close friend Coleman "Andy" Glaze of Uvalde. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
