He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Estella (Steigerwald) and Sidney Sterling Heard; and his sisters, Margaret Skillern and Julie Wolf. He is survived by: his wife Anell Heard; his sons, Sidney Sterling Heard (Marty) and Colin Jeffery Heard (Lacey) of Uvalde; his sisters, Nikki Kindle of Houston and Genny Robertson of Houston; and his grandchildren, Wyatt Heard, Sara Heard, Calvert Heard and Rebecca Heard.
