He was predeceased by: his parents, W. A. "Slim" Brown and Rosamond Amelia "Flaxie" Lee Brown; and his brothers, Freddie Clayton "Bebo" Brown and Alton Dodson Brown. He is survived by: his wife LaNell Kelley; his daughters, Kelley Carmen Brown and Wendy Nell Brown; his grandson Kutter Baeza of Alpine; and his sister Carmen "Smokey" Hall Perez of Valentine. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Valentine Community Church (401 Texas Ave, Valentine, TX 79854). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the The Mercantile.
