She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas "Bud" Mercer and Izora Mertice Bryson Mercer; her husband Adolphus "Snooky" Maedgen; and her brothers, Creath Mercer and Jimmy Mercer.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Cardinas (Lynn) of Coleman, Karen Bartholomeo of San Angelo and Bruce Maedgen of Valera; her grandchildren, Dana Cardinas, Salem Maedgen, Cameron Maedgen and Christopher Maedgen; and her great grandchildren, Bryson Maedgen, Piper Maedgen, Willow Maedgen and Mila Maedgen. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
