She was predeceased by: her parents, Col. Charles L. Simmons, Jr. and Martha Jane Simmons; her brother Chuck; and her husband Harry Martin Strawser, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Jason Strawser (Belinda) and William Wayne Strawser; her sisters, Rachel and Rhoda; her grandchildren, Koby (Chasity), Whitney (Jacob) and Kennadi (Brayden); and her great grandchildren, Markus, Thomas Jason II, Manuel, Lincoln, Emmett, Rowan and River.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (302 Avenue C, Valley Mills, TX 76689). A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Valley Mills (302 Avenue C, Valley Mills, TX 76689).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church.
