He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Aycox (Gentry) and Marion Rufus Aycox; his daughter Pamela Aycox; his brother Edward J. Lowery (Margaret); and his mother-in-law Myrtle Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Jean Aycox (Stewart); his daughters, Deanna McNeill (Jeff) of Gainesville and Lisa Matthews (Steven) of Gainesville; his brothers, Leslie Aycox (Dinah) of Meaker, Virgil Aycox (Kathy) of Seminole, Dale Aycox (Donna) of Oak Ridge, Kenny Aycox (Ann) of Edwards and Orville Aycox (Lorrie) of Gordonville; his siblings-in-law, Sharon Stout (Ed) of Valley View and David Stewart (Cindy); his grandchildren, Brandon Atkins (Elizabeth) of Gainesville, Mallorey Atkins (Jessica) of Carrollton, Destiny Atkins (Ernesto) of Gainesville and Dancie Matthews of Gainesville; his stepgranddaughters, Mindy McNeill-Trail (Cale), Taylor Joyce (Thomas) and Marti Thompson (Brady); and his great grandchildren, Annalynn Atkins, Olivia Atkins and Devin Atkins. He is also survived by 13 step-great-grandchildren; also included are many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
