It is with sadness that the passing of Danny Curtis Buckner (Van Alstyne, Texas) is shared. Danny, born on July 24, 1942, passed away on September 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bradley Lee Buckner and Hattie Lee Aldridge Buckner; and his siblings, Sharon Blocker, Virginia Runnels (Ginger), Steve Buckner and David Buckner.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Buckner; his children, Kelly Cardoso, Guy Garland, Curtis Buckner, Justin Buckner and Rebecca Williams; and his grandchildren, Connie Reed, Miles Meador, Natalie Buckner, Henley Lewis, Carson Buckner, Caden Buckner, Jacob Williams and Benjamin Williams. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the First Christian Church (274 S Waco St, Van Alstyne, TX 75495).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a charity of your choice, as a tribute to Danny's generous spirit.
