He is survived by: his children, James Laughlin (Krystin) and Cathryn Paton (Tony); his stepchildren, Jeffery Cross (Terri), Vicky Avants and Cheryl Klaiber (David); his grandchildren, Samuel, James, Sarah Paton, Kaleb Laughlin and Paul Fleming (Victoria); and his great grandchildren, Keith (Elvie), Scott Avants (Michelle), Michelle, Sean Klaiber (Holly), Jeffery Wayne Cross, Amanda Marshall (Seth), Danica Cross, Sidney, Madison Avants, CJ Avants, Cort Avants (Cadence), Ashton, Parker Klaiber, Cassy Hunter (Blake) and Miranda Beck (Chris).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Taylor Bros. Funeral Home (2313 Avenue I, Bay City, TX 77404). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
