She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas "Tom" McMillan and Mattie Jane Hudson; her siblings, Mary Sherwood, Tinie McMillan, Ruby Higginbotham, Betty Young, Marie Burns, Jewell McMillan and Jim McMillan; and her husband Sam Edmonds.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Williams (Aaron), Patrica Caddell (Mike), Steve Edmonds and Richard Edmonds; her grandchildren, Shannon Grimes (Wes) of Van Alstyne, Amanda Hemmert (J. D.) of Blue Ridge, Cody Williams (Brittni) of Howe, Danielle Caddell (Jacob Biffle) of Denison, Karmen Usrey of Howe, Michael Caddell and Michael Edmonds; her sister-in-law Ida Edmonds; her friend Maudine Day of Van Alstyne; and her grandsons, Dusty Williams, AJ Williams, J. D. Hemmert, Jacob Biffle and Wes Grimes. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as several great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel (637 W Van Alstyne Pkwy, Van Alstyne, TX 75495).
