He was predeceased by : his parents, Wallene Freda Brumme Bailey and Chester Lee Bailey; and his brother Douglas Bailey. He is survived by : his wife Donna Bailey; his stepdaughter Jaclyn Fuqua; and his siblings, Helen Bailey, Lee Bailey (Sharon), Lynn Bailey (Detta) and Wayne Bailey (Kim). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scoggins Funeral Home & Crematory (637 W Van Alstyne Pkwy, Van Alstyne, TX 75495). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (727 S Travis St, Sherman, TX 75090).
