Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Edgardo leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Ramirez Castillo and Soledad Barcenas Campos. He is survived by: his wife Reyna Aguilar Ramirez of Athens; his son Edgar Ramirez; his daughter-in-law Annabel Camacho of Athens; his grandchildren, Yahir Ramirez and Arlette Ramirez; and his sisters, Soledad Ramirez Barcenas, Berenice Ramirez Barcenas, Maria of Jesus and Ramirez Barcenas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hilliard Funeral Home (386 N Maple St, Van, TX 75790).
