It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Howell of Van, Texas, born in Leonard, Texas, who passed away on March 19, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ardie Howell; her grandson Carson Freeman; her parents, Purvis Smith and Anna Yowell Smith; her stepmother Maxine Smith; and her sister Joyce McEuen.
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Freeman of Van; her stepchildren, Jimmy Connerley and Julie Rozell (Robbie); her grandson Cole Freeman; her stepgrandchildren, Ashley Rozell and Hayden Rozell; her niece Debbie Condor; and her nephews, David Wayne Womack and Stephen Womack. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
