He is survived by: his parents, Roger Hefner and Cindy Hefner of Kilgore; his sister Brittany Murphy; his brother-in-law Trey Murphy; his sister Amanda Hefner; his nieces, A'Mya Thompson, Paigelynn, Ava, Harper Hefner and Kapri; and his nephew Kaedrian Murphy.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Sabine High School.
