He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Barber; his parents, Ervin Dekalb Barber and Sarah Ellen Hobbs Barber; and his siblings, Mildred, Margaret, Billy Brown Barber, Quentin Ervin Barber and Quana Ellen Barber.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff (Laurie Barber), Tony (Kim Barber) and Laurie (Michael Meyer); his grandchildren, Ellen (Tom Malmanger), Rosel Meyer (Grayson), Emily Barber (Richard), Alyssa Meyer (Carlie), Parker Hutchins (Liston) and Alex Barber (Avery Barber); and his great grandchildren, Porter, Hallie, Olivia, Lucy, Cora and Beau.
