He was predeceased by: his brother Scott Gandy; his grandparents, Bob, Johnnie Rusk, Dell Edward Gipson and Francine Carter; his uncle Robert John Rusk; and his cousins, John Daniel Gonzales and John Hampton Rusk.
He is survived by: his daughter Kandice Gilll (James); his parents, Marilyn (Reno Gandy) and Joe (Laurie Gipson); his siblings, Paul Gandy, Matt Gipson, Courtney Tinsley and Todd Gandy; and his grandchildren, Madison Gill, Evelyn Gill, Kinsley Seeton, Waylon Gill, Lane Gill and Maverick Gill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
