He is survived by: his children, Leonard Bermea, Valerie Jovel (Bermea) and Orlando Bermea; his grandchildren, Jesse Ray Luna, Leticia Luna, Josh Gomez, Jacob Lee Luna, Tristan Bermea, Sabrina Jovel, Victoria Jovel, Marcus Jovel, Orlando Lee Bermea Jr. and Joe Alexander Bermea; and his siblings, Irene Leal, Olivia Rivas and Ernest Bermea.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Slavik Funeral Home (209 N Allen St, Edna, TX 77957). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. John Bosco Catholic Church (232 Main St, Vanderbilt, TX 77991). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at the Slavik Funeral Home Chapel (209 N Allen St, Edna, TX 77957).
