We are sad to announce that, on January 1, 2026, at the age of 63, Bernardo Vega of Vernon, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Bernardo leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Silvano Vega Perez and Teresa Gonzalez Carrera. He is survived by: his wife Norma Palomo; and his children, Dan Vega, Silvano Vega, Marco Palomo, Bernardo Vega, Jr., Teresa Vega (Cruz Vega) and Bethany Vega. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, and four brothers and five sisters.

Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
