She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Herrington and Barbara Flowers Herrington. She is survived by: her husband Lee Schur; her children, Lezli Cadenhead (Josh) of Fort Worth, Texas, Trey Schur (Lacey) of Vernon, Texas and Grant Schur (Lyndsie) of Meridian, Texas; her sister Heather Gaston; her siblings-in-law, Steve Schur and Jane Schur; her stepmother Donna Herrington; and her grandchildren, Garett Cadenhead, Rylee Cadenhead, Blythe Cadenhead, Everlee Schur, Kynlee Schur and Ross Schur.

Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (4405 Hospital Dr, Vernon, TX 76384). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to the Vernon ISD Lion's Roar, 1713 Wilbarger St., Vernon, TX 76384, which is a foundation that benefits the students and staff of VISD.
