He was predeceased by: his parents, Aldon "Red" Hutson and Ellen Hutson. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Huston; his children, Jason Hutson of Vernon, Brent West (Sarah) of Levelland, Holly Wilson of Austin and Christy Brooks (Randy) of Harrold; and his siblings, Brenda Bell (Ronnie) of Bowie and Larry Hutson (Cheryl) of Bowie, Texas.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
