We announce the death of Pablo Alaniz Cuellar of Vernon, Texas, born in Kenedy, Texas, who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pablo Cuellar and Vicenta Alaniz Cuellar; his wife Juanita Cuellar; and his sons, Jesus Cuellar, Juan Honesto Cuellar and Adam Cuellar.
He is survived by: his children, Israel Cuellar of Interlochen, MI, Julio Cuellar (Silvia) of Vernon, TX, Pablo Cuellar of Lansing, MI, Carlos Cuellar (Amber) of Lansing, MI, Abel Cuellar (Trina) of Lansing, MI, Henry Cuellar of Lansing, MI, Gloria Bonilla of San Antonio, TX and Eva Ruiz (Arturo). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sullivan Funeral Home (1801 Houston St, Vernon, TX 76384). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel (1801 Houston St, Vernon, TX 76384).
Memorials may be given to New Life Baptist Church.
