She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfonso Charles and Ynocencia Charles (Martinez); her husband Sabas Ramos Rodríguez; her son Tomas Rodriguez; and her siblings, Gilberto "Beto" Charles, Ventura "Benny" Charles, Julia Charles Bolton and Patsy Charles Chancey.

She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Meyers (David) of Abilene, Liz Pedroza (Pete) of Abilene and Evangeline "Eve" Rodríguez of Victoria; her grandson Santos Rodríguez (Mariah) of Victoria; and her siblings, Alicia Charles Segura, Jose "Joe" Charles of Alice and Domingo Charles of Edinburg, Texas.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made in her honor to Alzheimer's Association .
