He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Floyd and Olivia Ayers Floyd; his wife Gennette Loraine Floyd; and his siblings, Henry Floyd, Freddie Laviolette, Sr., Nell Ella Cox, Charlene Johnson and Lou Helen Sumpter.
He is survived by: his daughter Earnestine Vernette Carroll; his granddaughters, Marilyn Martin, Elsie Wilson and Annette Davis; his great grandchildren, Horatio Wilson, Aunriette Davis, Andre Davis and India Hamilton; and his siblings, Elder Levi Floyd (Jean), Gene Autry Floyd, Ida Mae Jones and Berniece Crump. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
