She is survived by: her husband Roger Montes; her son Emilio Alvarez Sr. of Victoria; and her siblings, Irma Sanchez of Victoria and Alfonso Alvarez (Esther) of Victoria. She is also survived by four grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
