He was predeceased by: his parents, Lazaro Salinas and Bruna Solis Salinas; his wife Genoveva Garcia Salinas; his son Mario A. Salinas; his son-in-law Stephen G. Henke; and his grandsons, Erik Salinas and Stephen D. Henke.
He is survived by: his daughters, Edna Salinas and Elma Salinas Henke of Inez; his daughter-in-law Cecilia Cathcart Salinas of Lolita; and his sons, Frank Salinas Jr. (Velma) of Kingsville and Javier Salinas (Jerri) of Victoria, Texas.. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
