He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois Blaha and Anastazia Kallus Blaha (Stazie); and his brother Frank Blaha. He is survived by: his children, Michael Blaha, Teresa Blaha, Georgette Rhoden and Kristal Dimas; and his wife Rose Blaha. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any Animal Shelter in his honor.
