She was predeceased by : her parents, Alfred Wyatt and Lurella Wyatt; her siblings, Judy Wyatt and LeRoy Wyatt; and her brother-in-law Willie Buford.

She is survived by : her husband Donald G. King of Victoria, TX; her daughter Audrey King of Victoria, TX; her goddaughter Marquet Dean of Minneapolis, MN; her son Kurt D. King of Victoria, TX; her siblings, James Wyatt (Melody) of Round Rock, TX, June Buford of Houston, TX, Betty Sutton (Daniel) of Victoria, TX and Jan Johnson (Eric Johnson) of Louisville, KY; and her sister-in-law Cheryl Wyatt of San Antonio, TX. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Keimryn Strong Foundation: bringing awareness to childhood cancer.

“Mrs. King has consistently been my inspiration. A genuine mother figure to all Mount Nebo youth she encountered. A familiar face at Stroman football and basketball games, you could always spot her in the stands. From my high school graduation to my college graduation, she stood by me. Her unwavering support means the world to me, and I'll forever cherish it. I'm eternally grateful and committed to paying it forward, just as she did. Mrs. King, you are loved!
