She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Lockstedt and Anna Lockstedt; her son Terry Hermes; her husband August; and her siblings, Carol, Ben, Ronnie, Jeffery Lockstedt and Rose Ritter.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Hermes (Janet) of Victoria, Geralyn Hermes of Victoria, Tim Hermes (Donna) of Victoria and Tresa Thornton (Kyle) of Rockwall, Texas; her brothers, Michael Lockstedt (Tutti) and Ray Lockstedt (Barbara); her grandchildren, Lindsey, Kristen, Jordan Lopez, Brittany Flynt (Marc), Sarah Nadelson (Thaddeus), Amanda Cory (Aaron), Melanie Hermes and Brette Thornton; and her great grandchildren, Lilianna Cherry, Logan, Madelyn Flynt and Leo Nadelson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Nazareth Academy, or any Pro-Life organization reflecting her lifelong commitment to service and faith.
